lyrics

won't turn to ash
won't cause a drought
she burns too hot to touch
too shout
and all I want's to snuff her out
but I can't recognize in doubt

I have in turn internalized
that humans only orbit lies
I'm saying fuck that enterprise
I'll never see infinite skies

remember the hail, when it starts down,
it's only made of water from underground
every time I start to flounder
touch her tongue and taste her sounds
her sounds all around

so scared I'd never feel again
the heart, the home, the love of friends
couldn't hear the heartbeat that she sends
lost to the means I lost the ends

for months I lost the holy words
a falconerless, frightened bird
now on the strength of the absurd
I know there's truth in what you heard

remember the hail, when it starts down,
it's only made of water from underground
every time I start to flounder
touch her tongue and taste her sounds
her sounds all around
